Went here on Sunday for brunch and my book club meeting. This place is definitely a hidden gem. The space was open and quiet enough to gather with friends. The food was delicious, so many options to choose from. All the food was visually appetizing and I wanted to purchase one of each. I would definitely recommend the croissant Benny or the sausage roll for brunch. For sweets, there were many to try but something about the oversize brownie was simple and not as sweet as I thought it would've been.
My experience was amazing in all aspects (food, service and atmosphere). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food we ordered were tomato salad, classic croissant, sausage and chorizo roll, and blueberry cruffin. All of the food were excellent, well seasoned and the right texture especially on croissant. My personal favourite surprisingly was the cruffin, moist, adequately sweet to our taste. The drinks we ordered were excellent as well (latte & dirty chai), but may need to adjust for stronger espresso taste. The atmosphere was what prompted us to take a look and explore the building. It was an excellent addition of the Calgary stampede display along with activities for kids to enjoy. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for and it is worthwhile to give it a try.
I went with few friends for a brunch and we were so surprised with the vibe, variety of foods and freshness! So tasty and delicious! The service also great and we felt very welcomed! Nice location for weekend strolls by the river or business meeting as the area is not so busy around!
The best cafe in Calgary, feels like we are in Paris again. The team members are warm and friendly, food and drinks were all great! We went for brunch and it just made me so happy
We had my daughter’s wedding at Maisie Eatery. The venue was beautiful and was perfect for the wedding celebration. The staff was professional and accommodating. Everything was on time and ran smoothly, thanks to the staff. The food was fantastic. All the guests continue to tell me how tasty it was. It was served on time, fresh and lots of it. The night could not have turned out better. It was a magical night. Thank you to all the staff who helped make it happen!
First came to Maisie to check out their event showcase, and since then I’ve done a couple work dates here and I love the space. It’s nice and spacious enough for larger gatherings, the food and the service is incredible. I haven’t done the brunch yet but the appetizers at the event and the pastries I’ve tried so far were all so good. I also love they have 2 hr parking! Just a really great spot
Delicious place! The pastries are fresh. The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is delightful. Each table is unique and has its own history inside, old pictures of the city, old pins, etc. Was not very busy on Saturday morning. The selection of baked goods was hard to choose from. Loved the experience. The only two downsides we the parking and the coffee was warm not hot, but nevertheless will be back.
The most spectacular food I have ever eaten in Calgary! The food is cooked the same day so you can taste the freshness of the dishes. The ingredients taste of good quality too! The desserts look beautiful as well. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The ambiance of this place is lovely and elegant; it is a spacious and bright eatery. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. I would highly recommend coming to this eatery!
